For instance, A Wanderer can request to be someone’s “friend." All of the people who have accepted friendship with that Wanderer would be listed in that Wanderer’s Message Center when they were online. Also, whenever someone requests friendship with you, that request is visible in the my messages section of your world.

Also, a Wanderer will have the ability to “follow” other Wanderer’s, or their mini’s, blog, or Projects (among others). If, for example, the Wanderer has chosen to follow another Wanderer's blog, then whenever that other Wanderer adds something to her blog, the Wanderer who is “following” would be sent an Alert through the Message Center. If they aren’t on the website, they would receive the alert the next time that they logged in. They would also have the option of receiving all Alerts via email in addition to receiving them when they log in.

As a final example, Wanderers can send messages to one another. But, don't worry: Spam will not be permitted, and if any annoying person keeps sending you messages, you can simply add them to your ignore list.
