Blogs are a new phenomenon! They are so "new century." They have revolutionized the way we live! Why didn't someone think of blogging before?...they did. A blog is nothing more than extemporaneous writing. Simple as that. Every writer loves to write. Truth be told, most readers love to write. Whether a writer or a reader, you don't always want to write in some structured fashion. Sometimes, you just want to talk about the weather, or how well your semester in Japan is going, or about how boring politics can be. You don't have to write an essay about it. Sometimes, you just need a place to express yourself and an audience who is willing - even wanting - to read it. Blogs are simply the extemperaneous utterances of the technologically adept.
